In light of Pit Bull Awareness Day 2008 I put our logo
on some merchandise so you all can represent for People4Pits. There are shirts for men, women, and our lovely fur-kids.

Welcome to People4Pits.
We are a group of
responsible, proud pit bull owners from the San Diego CA region that want to promote the greatest breed in the world (at least
that's what we think). Our goal is to educate the community regarding both truths and myths about pit
bulls and to promote and support responsible pit bull parenting.
DETERMINATION is the KEY!

My husband bought our pit. At the time I was completely unaware of
the prejudices against them and how many of them are in shelters and not given a second chance. She's the center of my world.
The main thing I'm excited to get home to, of course my husband doesn't know that! c: They really are such wonderful dogs
and it's so sad that their eagerness to please their owners, their strength and how smart they are is used for fighting. But I
have noticed since we started our awareness group that there are two groups of people: the ignorant people
that know nothing about them but have an opinion ayways, then there are the people that own them or are friends
with one and those people (like myself) fight for them everyday and love them unconditionally as they do us. There is NO in
between, either you know nothing about them and fear or hate them because of what you heard, or you know and love
them.

My sister wanted NOTHING to do with my pit, didn't want us to bring her
to the house, didnt want to meet her.... thank goodness she lived with my mom so I brought her anyways.... now she loves Bailey,
thinks shes so funny, and really loves her.
Its just so sad how people make an assumption without the FACTS and
the poor "lovers" (as I like to call them) have to pay for the uneducated, ignorant, closed minded idiots of our society,
and sadly it's with thier lives.
